Once again the Minsteils turn to a popular and perenniallly successful show for its summer production, and again Children steal the limelight in this classic tale set in the workhouses of Dickensian London.
The story of Oliver needs little introduction, folliwng, as it does, the life of Oliver, the abandoned boy who dared to ask for more, was apprenticed to the local undertaker and then taken under the wing of Fagin and his notorious band of youthful pickpockets. Here he experiences his first taste of love and kindness in a world of danger where unscrupulous villians hold sway and poverty is a way of life.
Our aim is to transport you to Clerkenwell of the late 19th Century. So we invited you to sit back, beckon over a serving girl (or boy) take a jug of stout or porter, savour the atmosphere of the Three Cripples Public House and condier yourselves " at home"..
