Billy Bumpkin is besotted by Katie Cuddlesome; Katie Cuddlesome is besotted by Dick Turpin; Dick Turpin is besotted by the lovely Caroline; Dame Dollop is besotted by anything in trousers and that includes the vicar and the local Lord of the Manor. So we have romance by the bucketful and with the custodians of the law PC's Nick and Nab at hand to deal with any disturbances, our village should be a place of peace, but Mr X and his hapless cronies Smash and Grab have other ideas resulting in much confusion, not least for the cast. Will peace be restored? Will the wrong doers get their comeuppance. Will the ladies get their men? Your guess is as good as ours, so settle back behind the bushes and all will, hopefully, be revealed.
